Increase Engagement In The Classroom
There is a really great article that was posted by Shelly S
Terrell @ShellTerrell about the many things that teachers can do to improve
their ways of teaching so that students don’t get bored in class thus, giving
them a better education.
One thing that I really liked about this post is because it
mentions current technology and websites that teachers can use to also help
students get involved in the classroom. This is great because we have learned
about these different things in class and it is nice to see them in use in the
real world.
I also liked that at the end it mentions that teaching is
not just about adding technology to the classroom but making lessons that are
going to get students involved in learning. This article has a great deal of
information that is easy to get to because they are all hyperlinks that can
take you directly to the different websites.
I also found it cool because it gave different apps that you
can use on your ipad to also help students get more involved in learning. I
think this is great because when looking for apps, sometimes it is hard because
I am never really sure what to look for when searching the different apps.
I am glad that I found this article, I feel that it has
provided me with a lot of information that I might not have gotten otherwise. I
really like all the information that I have gotten from Twitter, I feel that it
has really opened my eyes to the many different uses of technology. Especially
because I would have never created a Twitter account outside of this class.
